  • Salmon fillet, cut into 3 cm pieces10.5 oz
  • Potato, peeled and cut into chunks1.75 lb
  • Green pea1 cup
  • Leek, white and light green parts thinly sliced1 medium
  • Butter3 tbsp
  • All-purpose flour4 tbsp
  • Whole milk1.9 cups
  • Parsley, chopped2 tbsp

    On a cutting board, cut the cod fillet and salmon fillet into 3 cm pieces, peel and chunk the potato, thinly slice the leek, and chop the parsley.

    Cook the potatoes

    Boil the potato in a large pot of water over high heat until tender, then drain well and mash until smooth.

    Build the sauce

    Soften the leek in butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat; stir in flour, then gradually whisk in whole milk until smooth and thickened.
