- Ground beef, broken up during cooking1.5 lb
- Bulgur1.25 cups
- Green bean, trimmed and cut in half10.5 oz
- Canned diced tomato1 14.5 oz can
- Onion, finely diced1 medium
- Garlic, minced3 cloves
- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Cumin1.5 tsp
- Paprika1 tsp
- Parsley, chopped3 tbsp
- Chicken broth2 cups

Prep the ingredients
Trim the green bean and cut in half, finely dice the onion, mince the garlic, and chop the parsley.

Cook the bulgur
Simmer the bulgur covered in the chicken broth over low heat for 12–14 minutes.

Brown the beef
Heat the olive oil in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat; break up and stir the ground beef, seasoning with 1/2 tsp salt and a few grinds of black pepper.

Simmer the vegetables
Stir the onion, garlic, cumin, and paprika into the skillet over medium heat, then add the green bean and canned diced tomato; cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes.

Combine and finish
Spoon the beef and green bean mixture over the bulgur, scatter parsley on top, then taste and adjust with 1/4 tsp salt and a few grinds of black pepper.
